Description: Picking green beans using a brand new Ploeger BP2140e from Laarakker Groentenverwerking. This company, based in southern part of the Netherlands, is one of the largest producers of vegetables in the country. They operate 6 of these bean pickers from where we see two in action on this field. It was a bit difficult to film in detail how this pickers work, but in sort: the beans are stripped from the stems and go on conveyers inside the machine where four large suction blowers remove the remaining leaves.
